The KRISS Vector Gen 3 CRB is a semi-automatic pistol-caliber carbine designed for recreational shooting and competition in pistol caliber carbine divisions. Chambered in .45 ACP, it features a 16″ rifle length barrel that meets compliance requirements in most states. The rifle employs a closed-bolt, delayed-blowback operating system and accepts Glock-style magazines with a 30-round capacity.
The upper and lower housings have been redesigned for enhanced adaptability. The barrel shroud incorporates M-LOK mounting points, with 5 M-LOK slots positioned on each side and 6 on the bottom. Additional features include an interchangeable AR15/M16 pistol grip, ambidextrous adjustable folding stock, ambidextrous reversible magazine release, and 4-pin tool-less disassembly. The 4140 Chrome Moly barrel wears a Black Nitride (QPQ) finish for corrosion resistance and is threaded at .578×28 RH to accept compatible muzzle devices.
At the heart of the design is KRISS’s patented Super V mechanism, which directs the bolt and inertia block downward into a recess behind the magazine well. This geometry redirects energy downward rather than rearward, resulting in reduced felt recoil. Sighting is handled by flip-up front and rear sights, while an ambidextrous safety lever accommodates both left- and right-handed operation. The rifle accepts full-size Glock magazines and is ideal for recreational shooting and competition use.
