The Lee Precision 90400 is a double cavity .54 caliber 380 grain R.E.A.L. mold. This mold features an aluminum block with permanently attached steel handles and sturdy grips that won’t rust, while lead won’t adhere, and the block heats quickly. The mold block halves are clamped together and then lathe-bored for unmatched roundness and size control, and it comes with mold handles and hard anodized sprue plates.
This double cavity bullet mold produces a 54 caliber diameter 380 grain bullet—a solid bullet that loads easily even after many firings because of its unique cleaning action. The bullets won’t tumble and make a perfect hunting bullet with heavy loads. Aluminum molds heat up and cool down faster than iron or steel molds so good bullets can usually be produced after only a few casts, and they are one-third the weight of iron or steel mold blocks for less fatigue during extended casting sessions.
