Leupold® steel Standard (STD) rings and bases are the most versatile of any mounting system we offer. The Leupold Gunmakers Dovetail 2-PC Gloss base (model 50034) delivers the proven reliability of the STD mounting system in a blank configuration engineered for the gunsmith and custom rifle builder. With no pre-drilled holes or fluting, you’re afforded the freedom to custom drill holes, cut to length, cut flutes and cut a specific radius. The front base accepts a dovetail ring and the rear base houses the windage adjustment screws.
Finished in gloss black and made in the USA, this two-piece Gunmakers base system gives you complete control over your mounting platform. The rear ring is secured by windage adjustment screws allowing the scope’s internal adjustments to be reserved for precise sight-in. The dovetail front base is designed to accommodate standard Leupold dovetail rings, providing a rock-solid connection to your optic while you reserve elevation adjustments for your scope’s BDC dial.
