The Leupold QRW/PRW Two-Piece Base for Remington 700 features forged and machined steel construction with a matte black finish. Based on the familiar cross-slot design, the Quick Release Weaver style (QRW) uses a cross bolt design that is extremely secure. The QRW mounting system uses an adjustable double-lever mechanism to lock the rings securely into the base—you simply rotate the levers to achieve a lock.
This model is designed to fit a Remington 700 and is ideal for standard to magnum calibers. The base offers the same features as QR mounts, including ±¼ MOA accuracy when removing and replacing your optic. The spring-loaded levers can be “parked” by pulling each lever out, disengaging it from the locking screw, allowing you to adjust the levers to the desired position.
