The Lyman Multi-Caliber 6.65 Inch Ammo Checker is an accessory that lets reloaders verify loaded rounds will chamber properly in a firearm before firing. Simply insert your ammunition into the gauge—if it fits, your rounds will fit the gun’s chamber.
Constructed from solid 6061 T6 aircraft grade aluminum, the gauge is machined to SAAMI minimum chamber dimensions using custom tooling. A bright orange anodized finish makes it highly visible on the reloading bench. Each caliber is clearly engraved directly on the gauge itself, and a single gauge handles multiple calibers: 243 Winchester, 270 Winchester, 30-30 Winchester, 308 Winchester, 30-06 Springfield, and 300 Winchester Short Magnum.
