The distinctive Power+ follower functions similarly to the original Power Mag follower but uses a different design approach. This follower stays contained within the magazine tube, preventing contact with alloy frame material when the slide is released forward while an empty magazine remains in the gun. The Power Mag Plus is recommended for 1911 pistol owners with aluminum alloy receivers.
