The Magnum Research Desert Eagle L6 50 AE features a 6″ barrel with a PVD Carbo Blue finish on the slide, with gold-colored controls, and a hard-coat anodized black aluminum frame. The single action pistol has a crisp 4-pound trigger pull, and the pistol also has Magnum Research’s widely popular integral muzzle brake to manage recoil. The Desert Eagle features a true Picatinny accessory rail on the bottom of the frame for mounting lights and lasers, and the top rail is a Picatinny style optics rail on the barrel, compatible with single-slot mounts only.
Through the use of an alloy frame and weight reducing cuts, the Desert Eagle L6 is just under one pound lighter than the steel framed models. Overall length is 10.75″, height is 6.25″, and the slide width is 1.25″. It has a 7 round capacity in .50 AE and features Hogue® finger groove rubber grips. The Carbo Blue finish is an eye-catching Physical Vapor Deposition finish (PVD), with controls finished in a titanium gold color that provides a subtle contrast to the blue finish.
The Desert Eagle is a single-action, gas-operated, semi-automatic pistol capable of chambering the .50 Action Express, the largest centerfire cartridge of any magazine-fed, self-loading pistol. The pistol is primarily used for hunting, target shooting, and silhouette shooting. This model includes ambidextrous safeties and black rubber grips along with a single magazine.
