The Magnum Research Desert Eagle Mark XIX Component System is a versatile, accurate, and durable handgun. Purchase one pistol and you have the platform to build five different configurations with a simple switch of components (barrel, magazines and in some cases the bolt assembly). It comes with interchangeable parts for 50AE, 357 Magnum, and 44 Magnum, a magazine for each caliber, and a 6-inch barrel. Capacity is 9 for .357 Magnum, 8 for .44 Magnum, and 7 for .50 AE.
The Desert Eagle utilizes a gas-operated rotating bolt more commonly found in rifles, making it the first pistol capable of handling these outsized loads. The Mark XIX .50 A.E. pistols are convertible to .44 Magnum by simply switching the barrel and magazine, while converting to .357 Magnum requires switching the bolt assembly, barrel and magazine. Fixed sights adorn the 6-inch barrel, and a rail allows users to mount the scope of their choice. The system ships in a protective lockable aluminum case.
