The Magnum Research Desert Eagle L5 in .44 Magnum is a striking semi-auto pistol that blends powerful performance with iconic design. The Mark XIX L5 in .44 Magnum is offered with a 5″ barrel and features a hard-coat anodized black aluminum frame, with the steel slide and barrel available in Carbo-Blue finish. Gold controls complement the Carbo-Blue finish. All versions have Hogue® finger groove rubber grips.
Through the use of an alloy frame and weight reducing cuts, the Desert Eagle L5 is just under one pound lighter than the steel framed models. The single action pistol has a crisp 4-pound trigger pull. All models feature a full picatinny style accessory rail on the barrel from the end of the chamber to right behind the front sight and standard ambidextrous safeties. The pistol also has Magnum Research’s widely popular integral muzzle brake.
