The Magnum Research Desert Eagle L5 is a semi-automatic pistol chambered in .44 Magnum with a 5-inch barrel, black alloy frame, mil-spec green slide, integral muzzle brake and an 8-round magazine. It pairs a black alloy frame with a mil-spec green slide and titanium gold accents for a distinctive two-tone appearance. The single action pistol has a crisp 4-pound trigger pull.
Through the use of an alloy frame and weight reducing cuts, the Desert Eagle L5 is just under one pound lighter than the steel framed models. All versions have Hogue® finger groove rubber grips.
