The Magpul Bipod – Sling Stud QD combines serious strength and versatility with unmatched value. Its construction pairs lightweight Mil-Spec hard anodized 6061 T-6 aluminum with injection-molded polymer to deliver innovation in ergonomics, functionality, strength, and cost-effectiveness. The low-profile design conceals internal mechanisms and hardware while resisting snags and bumps. Rapid one-handed adjustments allow the bipod to transition quickly and quietly between user configurations. In the shooting position, it accepts stabilizing forward tension without risk of failure or warping. Aluminum and stainless steel components combined with injection-molded reinforced polymer ensure dependable performance and reliability while keeping weight minimal at just over 11 oz.
Leg extensions slide and lock securely with a button push across any of seven locking detents. An industry-exclusive 50 degrees of total tilt is controlled by a glove-friendly knurled tool-less bipod locking knob positioned between the extended legs. When folded, the streamlined housing and legs fit neatly under the barrel, measuring just under 2.5″ deep and 3.3″ wide. Anodized surfaces and tight precision tolerances eliminate squeaks and rattles. A soft rubber bipod locking knob cap attached to the locking knob provides a steady, non-marring forward rest while the bipod remains folded. Staggered soft rubber feet maintain grip on various shooting surfaces and are easily removed with a roll pin punch. Users can change feet using most Atlas pattern bipod replaceable feet, except for the Atlas 5-H style. This bipod attaches to a standard sling swivel stud.
