The Magpul Hunter American Stock is purpose-built for short action, right-hand Ruger American rifles, delivering true drop-in fit with upgraded ergonomics, individual adjustability, and dependable action bedding. The stock features reinforced polymer construction paired with an anodized aluminum bedding block and steel recoil lugs—a cost-effective upgrade that requires no bedding work. Length of pull is fully adjustable, comb height is independently adjustable, and the ergonomics are substantially improved over the factory option. Designed for the Ruger American Family of short action centrefire rifles, this is a genuine “drop-in” solution.
Seven M-LOK® slots provide extensive mounting versatility for accessories, while the included Magpul Bolt Action Magazine Well enables use of detachable AICS pattern magazines. The cast aluminum bedding block and high-strength steel recoil lugs firmly support the action and promote consistent rifle performance. The stock accepts and free-floats barrels up to 0.92″ diameter Medium Palma Contour. Length of pull adjusts from 13.0″ to 15.0″ using included 0.5″ spacers, and a pre-fitted 0.25″ Cheek Riser comes standard, with optional 0.00″, 0.50″, and 0.75″ cheek risers sold separately. An anti-slip rubber butt-pad ensures solid shoulder contact.
