The Magpul DAKA Soft Case SLR53 is constructed from their proprietary DAKA Grit material, delivering a lightweight, flexible, and weather-resistant soft rifle case. Measuring 53″(L)X12″(W)X3″(H), the SLR53 adapts to your needs—whether serving as a travel bag for your vehicle, a range bag, or a hunting case. The case nests securely inside Magpul’s DAKA Hard Case LR53 when additional protection is required during transport, while maintaining the light weight and flexibility needed at your destination.
Durability features include two external YKK Aquaguard zippers with easy-grip 550 cord pulls reinforced with heat shrink wrap. The case incorporates a MOLLE-style base and six reconfigurable DAKA Gear Straps for securing a rifle, MOLLE-compatible pouches, or other equipment. Interior organization consists of five stretchable mesh pockets on the lid designed to hold up to ten PMAG LR/SR GEN M3 sized magazines, a mesh pocket for small items, and a zippered pocket for accessories and documents including NFA paperwork, targets, and manuals.
The DAKA Grit material combines a 600D kiss-coat TPU facing layer with a TPU backing layer, joined by RF-welded seams for advanced environmental, dirt, and wear protection. Additional exterior features include an RF-welded ID card slot and a dot matrix grid. Transport options are customizable via two built-in carry handles and two stowable side attachment points that accept rifle slings (not included) via QD sling swivels, Paraclips, MASH Hooks, or similar connecting devices for over-the-shoulder carrying when the case is loaded with firearms and gear.
