Magpul’s Enhanced Lever Gun (ELG) M-LOK Hand Guard is purpose-built to enhance the Marlin 1895-pattern series of lever-action rifles. This 12″ hand guard installs with a patented mechanism that requires only removal of the OEM or aftermarket hand guard and end cap. Six M-LOK slots positioned at the 3″, 6″, and 9 o’clock positions allow mounting of various accessories to maximize the capability of your classic hunting or home-defense rifle.
The ELG Hand Guard maintains a clean aesthetic while adding improved grip control when firing modern, heavy-recoiling .45-70 Gov’t rounds. It is compatible with both Type 1 and Type 2 Magpul Rail Covers for shooters seeking M-LOK adaptability without altering the firearm’s appearance. An integrated hand stop is located at the front of the hand guard for additional control.
The ELG Hand Guard is designed to fit Marlin 1895-pattern guns with the hand guard retaining cap only. It will not fit 1894/336 pattern guns without modifications and will require a dovetail hand guard tenon to be added to any gun using a barrel band to retain the OEM hand guard.
