The Magpul Pro 700 Lite SA Stock combines the best features of the original Pro 700 Chassis with the PRS® Lite Stock to create a lightweight short action precision shooting chassis system weighing less than 5 lbs. This system accepts Remington 700-pattern short action right and left-hand rifles with a swappable bolt retainer plate and features Magpul polymer covering a fully machined Type III hard anodized aluminum forend and V-bedding block for absolute strength, improved ergonomics, and sound mitigation. The streamlined design weighs in at 4.4 pounds, a full pound less than its predecessor, but still packs a complete set of features that elevate your rifle’s performance.
The forend offers 19 M-LOK slots for accessory attachments, while the polymer pistol grip features a 5-degree forward edge sweep and enlarged palm swell with a 7-degree aft edge sweep for enhanced user comfort. The pistol grip also gives 0.75″ fore/aft adjustments for custom trigger reach, and an additional pistol grip with more aggressive sweep is included for shooters who prefer less vertical grip interface. The PRS Lite butt-stock is adjustable for 0.8″ of comb height and 1.4″ of length of pull, with an anti-slip, low-profile rubber butt-pad that adjusts for height and cant for a custom fit in the shooter’s shoulder.
The integrated AICS pattern magazine well is optimized for PMAG® 5 & PMAG® 10 7.62 AC magazines as well as most other AICS pattern short action magazines, with a low-profile, anti-snag ambidextrous magazine release made of Melonite® treated steel. The chassis accepts all factory Remington barrels and aftermarket barrels up to MTU profile. Sling attachment options include an ambidextrous 1.25″ footman’s loop, a reversible QD sling swivel socket opposite the bolt handle, and spaces for up to two additional QD sling swivel cups.
