Federal® Master Class™ is a competition-level sporting clay load featuring a customized Podium™ wad that extracts peak performance from Federal’s straight-wall hull. This 12 gauge shotshell delivers 7.5 shot, 2-3/4 inch, 1-ounce, 3-1/4-dram, 1,300 fps in a convenient 25-round box per shot cycle efficiency.
The load combines a customized Podium wad, reliable primers, high-antimony lead shot, and select propellant. Federal uses 5% antimony lead shot, achieving a hardness equivalent to 6% antimony, which resists deformation for tighter, more consistent patterns and authoritative breaks on distant clay targets. The design includes a straight-wall hull, inserted plastic base wad and striated tube for optimum performance.
Master Class ammunition is engineered specifically for sporting clays and FITASC competition. This load gives shooters competitively priced ammunition with top-quality internal components, featuring a unique blue hull and a shot sorting process that exceeds the expectations of all Sporting Clay shooters. Unlike premium reloadable alternatives, Master Class isn’t intended for reloading, allowing Federal to pass cost savings directly to shooters.
