MDT Chassis Systems were originally engineered for sports and tactical shooting, but over time, hunters increasingly adopted our lighter chassis designs. Recognizing this shift, we developed the MDT HNT26—our first chassis system purpose-built specifically for hunting rifles. The HNT26 delivers the core advantages of a chassis system: v-block bedding, length of pull and comb adjustment, and AICS magazine compatibility, all while maintaining a starting weight of just 26oz.
Built from a magnesium alloy rifle stock base paired with a carbon fiber forend, carbon fiber pistol grip, and foam-filled carbon fiber buttstock, the MDT HNT26 combines durability with minimal weight. This model features an ARCA forend and is designed for Remington 700 Short Action right-hand use.
