The Mesa Tactical LEO Gen II Telescoping Stock Adapter with Recoil Tube Only is designed to adapt AR-15 style buttstocks and pistol grips for use with Mossberg 500/590A1/MAV88 in 12 gauge and 20 gauge, featuring aircraft-grade aluminum construction that is CNC machined and powdercoated black. The LEO adapter is the most basic, best-selling model and features an optimal stock elevation allowing the use of iron sights or even the bead sight. It provides adjustable length-of-pull (LoP) to fit the shooter’s stature or for use with body armor and other equipment.
The stock adapter replaces the shotgun stock and mimics the stock attachment point of an AR-15 lower receiver, accepting an AR-15 receiver buffer tube, allowing AR-15 collapsible stocks and pistol grips to be reliably attached to the shotgun. This hydraulic recoil starter kit includes the stock adapter and hydraulic recoil buffer, plus installation hardware (no stock or grip). The KynSHOT hydraulic recoil buffers reduce felt recoil from 70% up to 90%. All LEO adapters accept optional push-button sling swivels.
