Midwest Industries builds this rifle around a 7075 T6 aluminum receiver forged and precisely machined to M16/M4 specs, finished with hard-coat anodized mil 8625 type 3 class 2 coating. The receiver features M4 feed ramps, .250 takedown pins, and a rear takedown pin detent hole threaded for a 4-40 set screw. It accepts a Mil Spec diameter buffer tube and works with standard AR15 components and magazines.
The upper includes a Lightweight Melonite barrel measuring 16 inches with a 1/8 twist and .223 Wylde chamber, paired with a Mid-Length gas system and .625 diameter barrel. An A2 flash hider is fitted at the muzzle. The MI M16 bolt carrier group drives the system, while the MI-CRM 15″ Combat series handguard delivers M-LOK compatibility and features laser-engraved T-marks for navigation.
