The Midwest Industries Combat Rail AR-15 Handguard is 100% made in America out of 6061-T6 aluminum and is type 3 hard coat anodized black. This free float handguard is 10.5″ long and weighs in at 8.3 ounces with the 4140 steel barrel nut installed. The indexing tabs keep the handguard secure against the receiver to prevent rotation while firing. Installation is straightforward—the handguard slips right over and is tightened down against the barrel nut without any timing required making installation a breeze.
In addition to the full length picatinny top rail, the Combat Handguard features M-LOK slots on seven sides for plenty of room for customization to set your rifle up exactly how you want without the need of heavy picatinny rails that won’t get used. This M-LOK handguard also features two rear mount anti-rotation QD sling swivel slots. The fully dehorned and deburred edges making for a premium feel without potential snag points and is comfortable to hold. The inner diameter is 1.3″ while the outer diameter is 1.5″ for a slim profile.
