The Nordic Components MXT shotgun magazine extension tube kit is engineered to expand your magazine capacity. When used with the MXT extension tube nut, this tube kit adds up to 9 rounds to your existing magazine capacity. The extension is constructed from 6061 aluminum with an anodized finish. Capacities are measured using 2.75″ star-crimped shells; for use with 3″ or 3.5″, increase your selection by one or two rounds.
The kit includes an extension tube, tube cap, and full-length spring. A relief groove eliminates barrel clamp travel, enabling secure repositioning after disassembly. Thread pitch on both ends allows you to reverse the tube position if needed. The MXT Modular Extension Tube works with the most popular brands of semi-auto and pump action shotguns, and the modular system permits combining multiple tubes to create different magazine capacity configurations.
An MXT Extension Tube Nut is required for proper installation and the kit will not fit without it. Any spring/follower retention devices must be removed to allow the extension to function. Most Remington shotguns have dimples in the factory magazine that will need to be removed.
