Berger Hybrid OTM (Open Tip Match) Tactical Rifle Bullets feature the company’s industry-leading hybrid ogive, which combines tangent and secant designs to optimize efficiency, reduce wind-drift, and minimize sensitivity to seating depth. Specified for .338 caliber at 300 grains with a boat tail design, this 250-round box serves the precision demands of serious reloaders and shooters. Each bullet measures 0.338″ in diameter, 1.819″ in overall length, and carries a 0.822 G1 ballistic coefficient; a 1-in-10″ twist rate or faster is required for proper stabilization.
These bullets are constructed with Berger’s J4 Precision Jackets, which are held to an unprecedented +/- .0003″ tolerance—the most consistent and concentric copper jackets available. The boat tail design provides an aerodynamic advantage over flat base bullets at extended ranges, particularly during the transition from transonic to subsonic velocities.
Berger’s exacting core manufacturing process eliminates the need to sort by weight, delivering more reliable drop, consistent ballistic coefficient, and improved accuracy from box to box. Competition-proven and trusted by top Mil/LE professionals, long-range competition shooters, and tactical marksmen, these bullets perform across range, target, and tactical applications.
