Fix over-gassing and improve timing with the Phase 5 AR-15/M16 Pistol Pigtail Gas Tube. This 6.75″ stainless tube simulates a standard cycle, reduces wear, and ensures reliable function on 7.5″ barrels. Designed to solve timing problems for over-gassed 7.5″ AR pistols, the pigtail design causes the tube to simulate a more standard cycle time and helps remedy timing problems without patchwork like a heavier buffer. This allows the shooter/builder to use standard Mil-Spec carbine parts for better reliability.
Fits all barrels using a pistol length gas system with an outer diameter at or below 1″. Constructed from stainless steel and measuring 6-3/4″ in length, this accessory includes the gas tube and one stainless steel roll pin. Note that the Pigtail Gas Tube will not fit correctly inside Phase 5’s LPSN (Lo-Pro Slope Nose Quad Rail), with the outside diameter of the Pigtail Gas Tube loops ranging from 1.46″ – 1.56″. For best fit, the minimum inner diameter of a quad rail or hand guard should be 1.65″.
