The Phase 5 Weapon Systems AR-15 Pistol Buffer Tube (PBT) combines a billet aluminum buffer tube with a foam pad made of ultra-durable nitrile rubber, along with a Mil-Spec end plate and castle nut. This buffer tube accepts Mil-Spec carbine buffers and springs, and its lower slot is machined to accommodate all Mil-Spec end plates and sling mounting accessories. The assembly works with SB Tactical Pistol Stabilizing Braces, delivering a snug fit that prevents unwanted brace movement during operation while allowing full freedom of brace positioning—from all the way forward to as far back on the tube as desired.
Note: This assembly is compatible with SB Tactical Braces that accept round tubes only. It is not compatible with adjustable braces such as the SBA3, SBA4, or PDW models. The package includes the Pistol Buffer Tube, Castle Nut, End Plate, Foam Pad, Carbine Buffer, and Phase 5 Enhanced Buffer Spring.
