The 5.56 Minuteman Pistol is Patriot Ordnance Factory’s twist on what a direct impingement serious pistol should be, topped with the controls and enhancements most important to remain mobile and light. Chambered in 5.56×45 NATO, it features a 10.5″ barrel in Black Nitride Heat Treated 4150 CrMoV Steel with 1-8 Twist, 5R Right Hand Lands & Grooves, and 1/2X28 Muzzle Threads. The Minuteman uses POF’s E2 Dual Extraction Technology that features four narrow channels cut into the neck area of the chamber—when fired, a small amount of gas vents onto the case’s shoulder, breaking the seal between the chamber and the case to reduce extraction work.
The pistol features a Single Stage Straight Drop In Trigger with a smooth 3.5 lb pull. It includes an Ambidextrous Safety and Ambidextrous Strike Eagle Charging Handle, along with an Anti-Tilt Pistol Buffer Tube. The Minuteman uses a shortened 9″ version of the Renegade handguard, featuring an uninterrupted top rail and M-Lok cuts on three sides, with a section of Picatinny rail at the 6-o’clock position for bipod use. The pistol ships with one 30 Round MFT Magazine.
