The barrel is up to 64% lighter than traditional steel barrels of similar contour, thanks to aerospace-grade carbon fiber impregnated with a proprietary matrix resin. Improved heat dissipation keeps the barrel cooler and longer lasting. The barrel arrives threaded and chambered with 5/8×24 muzzle threads, ready for suppressors, muzzle brakes, or other standard muzzle devices.
