Constructed from 7075 aluminum and hard anodized, it shields your optic from impact damage to the top, front, and sides. The STUD-LOK threaded stud/nut mounting interface provides a secure connection with extended thread engagement, greater hold down power, and increased shear resistance. TRU-SEAL technology eliminates the need for a separate sealing plate. Pre-installed O-rings on the mounting screws create a watertight seal against the slide, keeping out moisture and preventing corrosion in the mounting threads.
