The Redding Competition Seating Die represents the current standard in straight line bullet seaters, addressing concentricity issues that affect other seating dies. Tighter manufacturing tolerances are enabled by the patented seating stem system design. The seating stem is precision ground to match bullet diameter exactly, while the cartridge case and bullet receive complete support and alignment in a close fitting, precision ground sleeve before seating occurs.
The micrometer operates in 0.001″ increments for precise seating depth control and features infinite adjustment without clicks. A “zero set” function allows you to zero the micrometer to your rifle or preferred seating depth. The die is constructed from hardened steel with meticulously polished internal surfaces that minimize bullet deformation and brass marring during the seating process.
Built for the .300 WSM cartridge, this competition-grade die delivers the precision control needed for consistent ammunition assembly. The shellholder is sold separately, and note that this die does not crimp the bullet—a crimp die must be purchased separately.
