EGW offers this Picatinny rail scope base to upgrade Remington 513, 511, 512, or 521 rifles with a modern mounting solution. The one-piece rail is machined from domestic 6061-T6 extruded aluminum and finished in matte black Type II anodized coating. Picatinny cross slots extend the full length of the rail, enabling flexible positioning of scope rings and accessories. A center channel reduces weight while preserving rigidity, and in many cases will not interfere with factory iron sights.
Specifications include a 2.245″ center spread, 4.70″ overall length, 0.4″ height from receiver to top of Picatinny, and a weight of 2 oz. The mount accepts both Picatinny and Weaver-style scope rings. Ambidextrous beveling accommodates both left- and right-handed shooters. EGW recommends 20 inch lbs of torque and blue Loctite during installation.
This one-piece rail is configured at 0 MOA and performs optimally at distances up to 500 yards, making it well-suited for short- to mid-range rimfire shooting. Installation includes #6-48 X 1/4 screws and a T-10 bit, though receiver drilling and tapping is required.
