The Ruger LCP Max is chambered in .380 Auto and holds a 10-round capacity in a footprint comparable to the LCP II. At less than 1 in. wide and under 11 ounces, it remains smaller than available micro-9 pistols, making it a viable choice for concealed carry. The double stack magazine feed lips are engineered to reliably cycle the range of modern .380 Auto ammunition on the market.
The flush-fit, 10-round magazine maintains the profile of the LCP II magazine with extended floorplate installed while providing room for 4 additional rounds. Sighting equipment includes a tritium front sight with white outline paired with a generous u-notch rear sight for quick target acquisition. The rear sight features a square face that aids in one-handed cocking, and both sights are steel and drift-adjustable to support accurate shooting.
The medium-textured grip frame allows natural reach to the Secure Action trigger, recognized for its short, crisp pull and inner trigger safety. Pronounced cocking ears and deep functional slide serrations ensure reliable handling, while softened corners and edges throughout the slide and frame enhance carry comfort. The magazine release is reversible to accommodate all users.
The Ruger LCP Max ships with one 10-round magazine, a finger grip extension floorplate, a pocket holster, and a magazine loader.
