The Ruger American Compact 9mm pistol features a pre-tensioned striker system with a powerful striker spring that delivers positive ignition without requiring a heavier trigger pull. The firearm is built around a rigid, one-piece, precision-machined, black nitrided, stainless steel chassis incorporating integral frame rails and fire control housing.
This compact 9mm accommodates different shooters through its modular wrap-around grip system, which allows adjustment of both palm swell and trigger reach to fit a wide range of hand sizes. The ergonomic grip modules lock in solidly and do not loosen. The American Duty variant includes Novak LoMount Carry three-dot sights, ambidextrous slide stop and magazine release, a Picatinny rail, and non-slip surfaces on its side and grip.
The package includes one 12-round capacity magazine and one 17-round capacity magazine with grip extension, along with small, medium, and large grip modules.
