The Ruger Mark IV 22 LR features a simple, one-button takedown system that enables quick field stripping without tools. A recessed button positioned in the back of the frame allows the upper receiver to tilt up and away from the grip frame, after which the bolt slides freely from the receiver and the barrel can be cleaned directly from chamber to muzzle.
The Mark IV incorporates significant design refinements including a one-piece grip frame precision CNC-machined from solid aluminum alloy, an ambidextrous manual safety, and a redesigned bolt stop for improved ergonomics. The magazine drops free upon release to speed reloading, and a redesigned magazine disconnect safety prevents firing when the magazine is removed.
Internal enhancements to the hammer, sear, bolt, and firing pin deliver smoother, more reliable feeding. The legendary one-piece barreled receiver and internal cylindrical bolt construction remain core to the design. This robust architecture maintains permanent sight-to-barrel alignment and delivers higher accuracy potential than conventional moving-slide designs.
This 4.4 inch model chambered in 22 LR offers a 10-round capacity and comes finished in black.
