The Shadow Systems XR920 Elite is a striker-fire 9mm pistol with a 4″ barrel, 17-round capacity, green tritium front sight with black rear sight, and comes with two 17-round magazines. Developed by request for law enforcement, the XR920 is a crossover pistol that incorporates a compact 4″ top end with a full-size grip capable of holding 17 rounds.
The XR920 features an extended beavertail, recoil control ledge and aggressive trigger guard undercut for grip control. An interchangeable backstrap system allows the user to adjust the angle of the grip to better match the shooter’s aim. The Elite slide is machined with directional serrations with a thinned profile at the grasping areas for a positive grip, and includes weight reducing slide window cuts and top serrations.
The drop-safe flat faced trigger has a 4.5 – 5 lb trigger pull and a crisp, tactile reset. Optics cut models can accommodate major brands of mini red dots without the use of an adapter. The pistol’s intuitive ergonomics and reliability make it equally suited for duty, concealed carry, or range training.
