Sierra 1100 Varminter bullets in 22 caliber, 40 grain round nose are engineered for rapid expansion and immediate kills on larger varmints and small game. These bullets feature thin jackets to promote expansion while maintaining sufficient strength for firing at the highest muzzle velocities appropriate for their intended cartridges. Varminter bullets are available in several profiles: hollow point (HP), spitzer pointed flat base (SPT), and semi-pointed (SMP). Bullets designated as Blitz are optimized for medium velocity applications under 3600 fps.
