Sierra’s MatchKing bullets represent the company’s flagship target ammunition. Accuracy drives every aspect of MatchKing design. These bullets feature thin jackets held to a concentricity standard of 0.0003 in maximum variation, with weight tolerances of ±0.3 grain. The hollow point design incorporates a very small meplat to achieve high ballistic coefficient. The boat tail shape further reduces drag and improves ballistic coefficient. While some shooters have employed these bullets for hunting, Sierra’s recommendation is to limit use to target shooting applications.
