The 7mm 180 grain HPBT MatchKing was created in response to requests from top-level F-Class shooters, and Sierra has designed these MatchKing® bullets to provide a higher weight/higher ballistic coefficient alternative in the 7mm line. This bullet’s 12 caliber secant ogive and lengthened boat tail make it the perfect choice for the discerning 7mm long-range shooter.
MatchKing rifle bullets are super-accurate bullets with very thin jackets and are held to exacting tolerances in diameter and weight, with their accuracy acclaimed worldwide—they have been used to win more target competitions than all target bullets from other manufacturers combined. Weight retention is held to within +/- 0.3 grain. Each bullet is a hollow point and is designed with a very small meplat in order to achieve the highest ballistic coefficient possible.
This product comes in a quantity of 100 bullets per box, with a bullet diameter of 0.284″ and a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.660. This bullet requires a barrel twist rate of 8″ or faster. This is not loaded ammunition—it’s ideal for reloaders looking for premium match-grade components.
