Sierra’s MatchKing bullets represent the company’s flagship target offering. The design philosophy centers on one objective: accuracy. These bullets feature exceptionally thin jackets manufactured to a concentricity standard of 0.0003 in maximum variation, with weight tolerance held to within ±0.3 grain. Each bullet incorporates a hollow point design with a very small meplat to achieve high ballistic coefficient. The boat tail shape further reduces drag and enhances ballistic coefficient. While some shooters have employed these bullets for hunting applications, Sierra recommends them exclusively for target shooting.
