Sierra MatchKing® bullets are the pride of the Sierra bullet family, unmatched worldwide and truly world class in all respects. This box contains 500 rounds of 30 caliber (0.308″) 175-grain hollow point boat tail bullets with a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.505, part number 2275C. In 1995, Sierra worked with military ordnance experts to produce a superior long-range bullet for the M21, M24 and M40A1 sniper systems, resulting in the 175 grain #2275 MatchKing® bullet.
The higher ballistic coefficient compared to the 168 grain bullet allows it to remain supersonic at 1000 yards when fired from .308/7.62mm caliber Service Rifles. Competitive shooters have relied on the consistent accuracy of Sierra’s MatchKing® for decades, resulting in a history of state, national and world records that is the envy of competitors. Sierra maintains weight control to within ±0.3 grain and ensures jacket concentricity of 0.00″ to 0.03″ on target bullets.
