Sierra’s MatchKing bullets represent the company’s pinnacle of target ammunition design. Every MatchKing is engineered with accuracy as the primary objective. These bullets feature extremely thin jackets manufactured to a strict concentricity tolerance of 0.0003 in maximum variation, while individual weights are controlled to within ±0.3 grain. Each round incorporates a hollow point design with a minimal meplat to achieve a high ballistic coefficient. The boat tail shape further reduces drag and enhances ballistic coefficient performance. Although some shooters have employed these bullets for hunting purposes, Sierra recommends them exclusively for target shooting.
