Sierra’s MatchKing bullets represent the pinnacle of target ammunition design, engineered with accuracy as the primary objective. Each bullet features an exceptionally thin jacket held to a concentricity standard of 0.0003 in maximum variation, while weight is maintained within ±0.3 grain for consistency. The hollow point design incorporates a very small meplat to achieve a high ballistic coefficient, and the boat tail shape further reduces drag to optimize ballistic performance. While some shooters have employed these bullets for hunting applications, Sierra recommends them exclusively for target shooting. These 6.5 Creedmoor rounds weigh 150 gr and feature a hollow point boat-tail (HPBT) configuration, supplied in a 500-round capacity box.
