The MCX SPEAR represents Sig Sauer’s entry into the U.S. Army Next Generation Squad Weapon Program, developed as a potential successor to the M4A1. Built on an AR-Platform design, this carbine features a comprehensive package of Sig-exclusive innovations and intuitive controls. The MCX SPEAR incorporates fully ambidextrous controls throughout, including the safety and bolt release, alongside two non-reciprocating charging handles positioned on the left side and rear.
