The Sig Sauer MCX Spear represents the company’s entry into the U.S. Army Next Generation Squad Weapon Program, designed to succeed the M4A1. This AR-Platform rifle incorporates numerous Sig Sauer innovations alongside thoughtful ergonomic design throughout. The MCX Spear features fully ambidextrous controls, with the safety and bolt release accessible from both sides, plus two non-reciprocating charging handles positioned on the left and at the rear. The rifle is chambered in 7.62 NATO with a 16-inch barrel finished in Chrome Lined DLC, paired with a 2-stage match trigger to deliver consistent accuracy.
