Chambered in 9mm with a 3.9″ barrel and 15-round capacity, this double/single action pistol features a Nitron finish and an alloy frame. The optic-ready steel slide includes front and rear cocking serrations, the alloy frame incorporates a beavertail and accessory rail, and the pistol is equipped with a DA/SA short-reset trigger and SIGlite night sights.
The P229 Elite Compact delivers exceptional out-of-the-box accuracy enhanced by SIG’s Short Reset Trigger (SRT), which maintains the safety and smooth action of DA/SA operation while providing a shorter reset for faster trigger return and precise control during rapid fire. The fixed SIGlite night sights enable reliable target acquisition in low-light conditions, while the optic-ready cut accommodates the addition of a red dot sight.
