The Smith and Wesson M&P 9 M2.0 5 Inch features a metal frame design built around an optics ready slide. The slide incorporates lightening cuts on top and sides, while the frame is engineered with an optimal 18-degree grip angle for natural point of aim. A flat faced trigger pairs with an enhanced sear that delivers a lighter, crisper trigger let-off.
Controls include an oversized and reversible magazine release and a flared magwell designed for fast reloads. Sights consist of a fiber optic front sight and blacked-out rear sight. The front strap features textured polymer for secure grip, and a Picatinny-style rail is integrated for accessories.
The low barrel bore axis reduces muzzle rise and allows for faster aim recovery, making the M&P comfortable to shoot. Smith and Wesson’s patented take-down lever and sear deactivation systems enable disassembly without pulling the trigger. The pistol comes with four interchangeable palmswell grip inserts and four 10-round capacity magazines.
