The Spikes Tactical Barking Spider2 5.56 NATO muzzle brake is engineered to redirect noise, blast, and concussion forward and downrange, away from the shooter. Built to withstand full auto and high volume fire, it features a cutting edge blast cone design that is supported in both the front and rear—a design element not found on any other Krinkov muzzle brake that prevents cone sagging in extremely high temperatures. The brake is CNC machined from Billet 4140 Chromoly BAR stock and ball dimpled to reduce weight and dissipate heat. The body comes pre-drilled for pinning to the barrel and is the correct length to make a 14.5″ barrel into 16″ OAL when permanently attached.
The body is heat treated and finished with an extremely durable Black Nitride QPQ coating. A thread protector is included to cover the teeth on the striking device when not in use, and a 5 prong Helix flash suppressor cap is also provided to greatly reduce flash being thrown downrange. The modular design allows you to change configurations in seconds by simply unscrewing the attachment and screwing on a different one.
