Springfield Armory’s Echelon is a modular, adaptable 9mm pistol built around a robust stainless steel chassis and optics mounting system, engineered to perform in harsh conditions. The firearm features the COG, a self-contained and serialized component that moves between grip modules in seconds. The Variable Interface System (VIS) accommodates over 30 optics mounted directly to the slide without adapter plates. The slide incorporates four distinct engagement surfaces, with a trench cut forward of the action serving as a natural index point for press checks and charging. The slide back is flared for positive purchase, while deep forward and rear serrations extend through the corners for consistent grip control from any angle. This 4.5 inch barrel model in black Melonite finish is optic ready and ships with a 10-round capacity magazine, a second magazine, and a case.
