Starline 500 Smith and Wesson Magnum Unprimed Reloading Brass 50 Count

Starline’s 500 S&W Mag unprimed cases come in a 50-round bag and reflect the cartridge’s specification history. The initial production of 500 S&W Mag cases was manufactured to accept large pistol primers according to Smith & Wesson and Cor-bon specifications. On July 28, 2003, Smith & Wesson and Cor-bon updated the primer pocket specification to large rifle. Rifle primers are the same diameter as pistol primers but are approximately .006″ taller. This change was implemented to prevent primer piercing by the firing pin when loaded with maximum loads and heavy bullets (bullets over 400 grains).
