The L.E. Wilson Steel Neck Sizer Die Bushing .289 (model B-289) is a hardened stainless steel neck bushing designed for precision reloaders. The L.E. Wilson Neck Sizing Bushing allows the reloader to custom fit the L.E. Wilson Neck Sizer Die to any brass and bullet combination. It freely interchanges in all Wilson bushing type neck sizing dies.
The Neck Die Bushing fits in the Neck Die and sizes the case neck to grip the bullet. Wilson makes their bushings in .001″ increments, providing precise control over neck tension. To select the correct bushing, measure the outside neck diameter of your loaded cartridge and subtract .002″ to .003″, which allows approximately .001″ of brass to spring back for correct neck tension.
