The Strike Industries Mass Driver Compensator harnesses the hot gasses expelled through the barrel after discharge to function as a counter balance system that attenuates mechanical recoil. By separating the compensator from the operating components after ignition, the MDC maintains close to stock cyclic speeds while reducing reciprocating mass. Precision CNC machined from steel with a black finish and weighing 5.04 oz., this compensator features a widened bore to reduce baffle strikes and keyholing rounds, along with a 2.5mm relief cut at the top rear to reduce “lipping” and damage to the face of the slide.
The Mass Driver Comp eliminates the need for threaded barrels and requires no permanent weapon modification. The SI Mass Driver Comp sits flush with OEM GLOCK™ slides and works with most open-ended holsters that accommodate compensators. It is compatible with GLOCK™ GEN3, GEN4, and GEN5 G19 (compact) and G17 (standard) slides. This comp is legal in all 50 states.
Each unit ships with a comp main body, recoil spring, guide rod, guide rod fitment washer, guide rod head, internal spring, and guide rod plug. Gunsmith or armorer installation is recommended. Use with +P and +P+ 9mm ammo may lead to premature internal spring wear and cause failure.
