The Strike Industries G5 Mass Driver Comp is a steel compensator engineered for Glock 17 Gen 5 pistols. It uses a mass-driver design to manage recoil and muzzle rise while maintaining near-stock cycling by keeping compensator mass separate from the firearm’s operating parts.
The compensator features a widened bore to minimize baffle strikes and keyholing, plus a 2.5mm relief cut along the top rear surface to reduce “lipping” and slide face damage. It is compatible with most Glock aftermarket threaded barrels, though non-threaded barrels are recommended when possible. The blended, no-snag profile works with most open-bottom holsters.
What’s included: compensator main body, recoil spring, guide rod, guide rod fitment washer, guide rod head, internal spring, and guide rod plug. No threaded barrel is required. This standard model is 50 State Legal and suitable for practical shooting sports.
